Overview
Guipi Capsules (marketed under the brand names Besining and Baisining) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulated as oral capsules, developed and manufactured by Anhui Pioneer Pharmaceutical. Based on the classic TCM formula Guipi Tang (Restore the Spleen Decoction), it is composed of multiple herbal ingredients including *Codonopsis pilosula*, *Astragalus mongholicus*, *Atractylodes macrocephala*, *Poria cocos*, *Angelica sinensis*, *Polygala tenuifolia*, *Ziziphus jujuba* seed, *Dimocarpus longan*, *Aucklandia lappa*, and *Glycyrrhiza uralensis*. Guipi Capsules are primarily indicated for the treatment of heart and spleen deficiency, which manifests as shortness of breath, palpitations, insomnia, dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, metrorrhagia, and blood in the stool. It works by invigorating Qi, strengthening the spleen, nourishing blood, and calming the mind.
