Guizhi Tangju is a proprietary Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Tang Beining Pharmaceutical Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers (DFU). It is a modified version of the classical Guizhi Tang (Cinnamon Twig Decoction), optimized for topical application to chronic wounds. The drug is designed to address the complex pathology of diabetic foot complications by improving peripheral microcirculation, modulating the local inflammatory response, and promoting tissue regeneration and wound healing. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials to assess its efficacy in accelerating ulcer closure and reducing the risk of infection in diabetic patients.
