GV-108 is a first-in-class monoclonal antibody targeting Immunoglobulin Superfamily Member 11 (IGSF11), an immune checkpoint protein. Developed by Gv-20 Therapeutics using their proprietary AI-driven STELLAR platform, GV-108 is designed to block the interaction between IGSF11 and its receptors, such as VSIG3, which are often upregulated in the tumor microenvironment to suppress T-cell activity. By inhibiting this checkpoint, GV-108 aims to restore and enhance the immune system's ability to identify and destroy cancer cells. It is currently being investigated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of advanced or refractory solid tumors, representing a novel approach in the field of cancer immunotherapy.
