GVB-2030

GVB-2030 is a highly modified oncolytic vaccinia virus being developed by Genvira Biosciences as its lead program for cancer immunotherapy. The therapy is engineered to selectively target tumor cells, tumor-associated vasculature, and tumor-associated exosomes. It functions by inducing direct oncolysis and delivering cytokine payloads directly to the tumor microenvironment to stimulate a robust anti-tumor immune response. GVB-2030 is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development, with a primary focus on treating bladder cancer, often in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors such as anti-PD-1 antibodies.
