GVX 3322 is a DNA-based therapeutic vaccine designed for the treatment of prostate cancer. Developed by Genvax, a subsidiary of Medical Marketing International Group (MMI), the vaccine utilizes a DNA sequence verified for commercial assembly. It was developed in collaboration with the University of Southampton and Cancer Research Technology. The vaccine is intended to stimulate an immune response against prostate cancer cells. As of 2008, it was in preclinical development with plans for Phase II clinical trials following immunogenicity studies. It underwent preclinical equivalence studies comparing it to an academic vaccine previously used in clinical trials.
