GW003 is a biosimilar of balugrastim, developed as a granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) stimulant. It is designed to stimulate the production of neutrophils and reduce the incidence of neutropenia in patients undergoing chemotherapy. GW003 is administered via subcutaneous injection and has been evaluated for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) in both healthy subjects and patients with breast cancer[1][2][4][9][10]. The drug is being developed by Mabwell (Shanghai) Biosci and Jiangsu T-Mab Biopharma Co.,Ltd.
