GX-188E + GX-I7 + imiquimod

GX-188E + GX-I7 + imiquimod is an investigational combination immunotherapy regimen developed by Genexine, in collaboration with Ichor Medical Systems, for the treatment of HPV-associated cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 3 (CIN 3). The regimen integrates three distinct components: GX-188E (tirvalimogene teraplasmid), a therapeutic DNA vaccine encoding the E6 and E7 oncoproteins of high-risk HPV types 16 and 18; GX-I7 (efineptakin alfa), a long-acting interleukin-7 (IL-7) fusion protein that acts as a T-cell amplifier; and imiquimod, a topical toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) agonist used as an adjuvant. GX-188E is typically delivered via Ichor's TriGrid electroporation system to enhance cellular uptake. The combination is designed to induce a robust, antigen-specific T-cell response and promote the infiltration of these cells into the cervical lesion to facilitate histopathologic regression and viral clearance.
