GX-70 is an investigational DNA vaccine developed by Genexine for the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis and the prevention of disease relapse. The vaccine is composed of four plasmids encoding antigens derived from *Mycobacterium tuberculosis* (MTB) and a fifth plasmid encoding the Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand (Flt3L), which acts as a genetic adjuvant to stimulate dendritic cell maturation and enhance the cellular immune response. GX-70 was intended for use in patients with high-risk factors for treatment failure or relapse, such as those with cavitary disease or persistent sputum positivity. A Phase 1 clinical trial (NCT03159975) was planned in South Korea but was withdrawn prior to the enrollment of participants.
