GX-G3 is a next-generation, long-acting granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) fusion protein developed for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced neutropenia. It utilizes Genexine’s proprietary hybrid-Fc (hyFc) platform, which combines human IgD-Fc and IgG4-Fc domains to extend half-life and reduce immunogenicity by eliminating antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC). Compared to first-generation filgrastim and second-generation pegfilgrastim, GX-G3 demonstrates a longer elimination half-life and similar or improved efficacy in reducing the duration of severe neutropenia. The drug is administered as a single injection per chemotherapy cycle and has shown safety and tolerability comparable to existing therapies in clinical trials[1][2][5].
