GX-I7 + temozolomide is an investigational combination therapy for glioblastoma that includes **GX-I7 (also known as NT-I7, efineptakin alfa, rhIL-7-hyFc)**, a long-acting recombinant human interleukin-7 (IL-7) fusion protein, and **temozolomide**, a well-established oral alkylating agent used as chemotherapy. GX-I7 acts by stimulating T-cell proliferation and restoring lymphocyte counts, which may counteract chemotherapy-induced lymphopenia, while temozolomide induces DNA damage and cell death in tumor cells. The combination aims to enhance anti-tumor immune responses and improve outcomes for patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma who have completed standard chemoradiation. GX-I7 is in development by Genexine and NeoImmuneTech; temozolomide is a widely used generic chemotherapy agent[1][2][4][5][7].
