Overview

GXV-002 is an investigational small molecule calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) antagonist (calcilytic) being developed by GEXVal for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and rare genetic cardiovascular diseases. Originally developed by Takeda, the asset was in-licensed by GEXVal, which is currently advancing it through IND-enabling studies. GXV-002 has received Orphan Drug Designation (ODD) from the US FDA for the treatment of PAH. By targeting CaSR, GXV-002 aims to address the underlying vascular remodeling and vasoconstriction associated with PAH and other rare cardiovascular conditions.
