Overview

GXV-004 is a small molecule calcium-sensing receptor (CaSR) antagonist being developed by GEXVal, a spinout of Takeda. It is part of GEXVal's CaSR franchise, which also includes GXV-002 and GXV-005. GXV-004 is currently in IND-enabling/preclinical development for the treatment of rare genetic cardiovascular diseases, heart failure (including acute decompensated heart failure [ADHF], heart failure with reduced ejection fraction [HFrEF], and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction [HFpEF]), and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
