Utilizing proprietary platform technologies such as Zpheres® (microspheres), Geleepot® (in-situ gel), and Kriztols® (nanocrystals), GZ296 is designed as a once-monthly extended-release treatment for type 2 diabetes mellitus and obesity. It is being developed via the FDA's 505(b)(2) regulatory pathway, leveraging the established safety and efficacy profile of approved semaglutide products.
