GZR18 + metformin

GZR18 + metformin is a combination of two agents under investigation and use for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus and potentially obesity. GZR18 is a novel, long-acting analog of glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1), an incretin hormone that stimulates insulin secretion and inhibits glucagon release in response to elevated blood glucose. It has demonstrated efficacy in lowering blood glucose, reducing glycated hemoglobin, and decreasing food intake in preclinical models.
