**H-4073** is a novel curcumin analog investigated as a potent anti-tumor agent, specifically targeting drug-resistant head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Its mechanism involves inhibition of multiple key signaling pathways implicated in cancer progression and chemoresistance, including STAT3, FAK (focal adhesion kinase), Akt, and VEGF. H-4073 demonstrated both inhibition of tumor cell proliferation and reversal of cisplatin resistance in preclinical models. It acts by inhibiting phosphorylation of STAT3, FAK, and Akt, leading to increased tumor cell apoptosis and reduced migration.
