Overview

A multi-agent chemotherapy regimen combining an H-CVAD backbone with liposomal doxorubicin (Doxil). H-CVAD refers to hyperfractionated cyclophosphamide, vincristine, doxorubicin, and dexamethasone; in this regimen the conventional doxorubicin component is replaced or supplemented with pegylated liposomal doxorubicin to maintain anthracycline activity while potentially modifying toxicity and pharmacokinetics. The regimen has been studied in peripheral T-cell lymphomas as an investigational combination.
