H100

H100 is a proprietary topical gel formulation of nicardipine, a calcium channel blocker, developed for the treatment of Peyronie's disease. The drug is designed to be applied topically to the penile shaft, where it is intended to penetrate the tunica albuginea to reach the fibrotic plaques characteristic of the condition. Its mechanism of action involves the inhibition of calcium-dependent collagen production and the potential stimulation of collagenase activity, which collectively aim to reduce plaque size, density, and the resulting penile curvature. Originally developed by Hybrid Medical, the candidate was licensed to Petros Pharmaceuticals (formerly Metuchen Pharmaceuticals) in 2020 for clinical development and commercialization. However, Petros Pharmaceuticals terminated the license agreement in May 2023, effectively halting its development under their sponsorship.
