Drug intelligence / Profile preview
H225 is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Abologix that targets Junction Adhesion Molecule C (JAM-C). JAM-C is a cell surface protein expressed on certain drug-resistant B-cell lymphoma cells and is also localized to endothelial cell tight junctions. By blocking JAM-C, H225 inhibits JAM-C-mediated tumor-vascular interactions and the transmigration of lymphocytes, which are critical for the progression and dissemination of lymphomas. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that H225 significantly increases overall survival in animal models of Mantle Cell Lymphoma and other non-Hodgkin's lymphoma subtypes. The drug is currently in advanced preclinical development with plans to progress toward Phase I/IIa clinical trials.
