H7HLAII

H7HLAII is a DNA vaccine developed as a prophylactic vaccine targeting pandemic influenza, specifically the H7N9 strain of Influenza A. The vaccine encodes the hemagglutinin (HA) protein from the influenza A/Shanghai/2/2013 (H7N9) virus and is designed to direct antigen expression to cells expressing human leukocyte antigen class II (HLAII) molecules. Its mechanism of action is immunostimulation, aiming to induce strong antibody responses against H7N9 by stimulating the immune system through presentation of HA antigens via MHC class II pathways. The primary indication under investigation is for prevention of pandemic influenza infection in healthy adults[1][2][4][5][10].
