Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The H7N1 influenza vaccine is a vaccine developed by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Biologicals for the prevention of influenza. It is designed to stimulate the immune system to produce antibodies that recognize and neutralize the H7N1 influenza virus. Specifically, it induces antibodies against the hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) proteins of the virus. Clinical trials have evaluated the safety and immunogenicity of different formulations of this vaccine in adults. [cite: NCT01949090, NCT01934127, 3, 5, 11, 13]
