**HA-1 peptide vaccine** is an investigational, LUMC-developed therapeutic peptide vaccine intended to enhance graft-versus-leukaemia activity after allogeneic stem-cell transplantation and donor lymphocyte infusion. The product contains synthetic 20-mer and 9-mer peptides derived from the HA-1 minor histocompatibility antigen, formulated with Montanide ISA 51. In HLA-A2-positive, HA-1-positive recipients who received transplants from HA-1-negative donors, the vaccine is designed to prime or expand donor-derived HA-1-specific CD8-positive cytotoxic T cells, enabling selective recognition of HA-1-expressing normal and malignant haematopoietic cells while limiting reactivity against non-haematopoietic tissues. The LUMC protocol describes a Phase I/II study in patients with minimal residual disease or mixed chimerism after transplantation and donor lymphocyte infusion.
