Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HA131 is a drug formulated as Paclitaxel Cationic Liposomes for injection. It exerts a dual anti-tumor action through the cytotoxic effect of paclitaxel and the targeting capabilities of cationic liposomes. The cationic liposomes target negatively charged tumor neovascular endothelial cells, blocking the supply of nutrients and inducing apoptosis of tumor cells. It is being investigated for the first-line treatment of gastrointestinal cancer with liver metastases.
