Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Habb-e-Bawaseer-Badi is a traditional Unani herbal formulation developed and manufactured by Dawakhana Tibbiya (specifically Dawakhana Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University) and other Unani manufacturers like Hamdard, Dehlvi, and Rex Remedies. It is primarily indicated for the management of non-bleeding or flatulent piles (badi bawaseer), hemorrhoids, and associated digestive troubles such as constipation, anal itching, and pain. The formulation contains a blend of natural herbs and botanical extracts, including *Butea monosperma* (Samagh-e-Dhak), *Piper nigrum* (Filfil Siyah), *Emblica officinalis* (Amla Khushk), *Azadirachta indica* (Barg-e-Neem), and *Terminalia belerica* (Post Balela), which work synergistically to reduce inflammation, soothe swollen veins, improve blood circulation in the anal region, and promote healthy bowel movements.
