Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Habb-e-Marwareed is a classical Unani herbal-mineral formulation traditionally used to support female reproductive health. It is primarily indicated for the management of leucorrhea (white discharge), general debility, and calcium deficiency in women. The formulation's chief active ingredient is Marwareed (pearl or pearl calcium), which is valued for its rejuvenating, strengthening, and hemostatic properties. Other key ingredients include Suhaga Biryan (roasted borax), Mazoo (Quercus infectoria), Kuchla Mudabbar (detoxified Strychnos nux-vomica), Mastagi (Pistacia lentiscus), and Amber (Ambra grasea). It is manufactured by several traditional Unani pharmacies, including Dawakhana Tibbiya College (Aligarh Muslim University), Hamdard Laboratories, and Rex Remedies.
