Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hai Ai Decoction (Haiai soup) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula primarily used as an external wash for dermatological conditions, including alopecia areata. It is derived from classical TCM texts and is often composed of herbs such as Folium Artemisiae Argyi (Ai Ye) and other botanical ingredients intended to dispel wind, eliminate dampness, and promote blood circulation to the scalp. In clinical research conducted by the Qionglai City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is being evaluated as part of a combination regimen alongside the oral formula Shen Ying Yang Zhen Dan and conventional Western treatments to improve hair regrowth in patients with patchy alopecia areata.
