Overview

Haitripopa is an oral, small-molecule thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonist. It is approved for the treatment of chronic primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and severe aplastic anemia (SAA) in adults. The drug is also under review for marketing authorization for chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia and is in clinical development for non-severe aplastic anemia. Haitripopa works by promoting the proliferation and differentiation of megakaryocytes, thereby increasing platelet production.
