Halwa muqawwi is a traditional Unani herbal formulation manufactured by Dawakhana Tibbiya College (AMU Dawakhana). Formulated as a sweet confection (halwa), it is primarily indicated for male sexual disorders and general debility. The preparation contains a blend of natural ingredients including sweet almond kernel (Maghz-e-Badam Shireen), hazelnut kernel (Maghz-e-Funduq), ash gourd seed kernel (Maghz-e-Petha), walnut kernel (Maghz-e-Akhrot), sweet pumpkin seed kernel (Maghz-e-Kaddu Shireen), white sugar (Qand Safaid), rose water (Araq-e-Gulab), pure saffron (Zafran Khalis), silver foil (Warq-e-Nuqra), and clarified butter (Raughan-e-Zard).
