Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hanchuan Zupa Granule is a traditional Uyghur medicine (TUM) primarily indicated for the treatment of chronic airway diseases, including bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and post-infectious cough. Developed and manufactured by companies such as Xinjiang Yinduolan Uighur Medicine and Xinqikang Pharmaceutical, the formulation is a multi-component herbal medicine. Research indicates that Hanchuan Zupa Granule exerts its therapeutic effects by inhibiting the TLR4-JNK/P38-NF-κB signaling pathway and the subsequent activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome, thereby reducing airway inflammation and mucus hypersecretion. It is currently marketed in China and is frequently evaluated as an adjunctive therapy to standard treatments for asthma control.
