Overview
Hanmian Granules (鼾眠颗粒) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) botanical drug candidate currently in Phase II clinical development for the treatment of pediatric adenoid hypertrophy. The formulation is specifically designed to address the "lung and spleen qi deficiency, phlegm and blood stasis" syndrome, a common TCM diagnosis for children suffering from enlarged adenoids and associated symptoms such as snoring and mouth breathing. The drug is being co-developed by Shandong Kangzhonghong Pharmaceutical Technology Development and Jichuan Pharmaceutical Group. As a TCM granule, it likely comprises a multi-component herbal extract aimed at tonifying qi, resolving phlegm, and dissipating blood stasis to reduce adenoid volume and improve respiratory symptoms.
