Overview

HAPC1573 is a murine monoclonal antibody (IgG1/κ) that selectively binds to human activated protein C (APC) and inhibits its anticoagulant activity without affecting its cytoprotective or anti-inflammatory functions. Originally developed at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF), HAPC1573 serves as the parent antibody of SR604, a humanized monoclonal antibody being developed by Equilibra Bioscience and Shanghai RAAS for the treatment of hemophilia A, hemophilia B, and other bleeding disorders. By blocking the anticoagulant function of APC, HAPC1573 helps to rebalance the coagulation cascade, promoting thrombin generation and clot stability in factor-deficient environments.
