Overview

HAT002 is a preclinical investigational therapy being developed by HBM Alpha Therapeutics for the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a common endocrine disorder and leading cause of anovulatory infertility in women of reproductive age. It is designed to target a disease-relevant endocrine pathway that is shared between PCOS and congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), with in vivo efficacy demonstrated in relevant preclinical models. By modulating this shared adrenal–reproductive axis rather than relying on chronic supraphysiologic glucocorticoid exposure, HAT002 aims to provide a more targeted and potentially better-tolerated approach to reducing hyperandrogenism and restoring endocrine balance in PCOS.[1][3][4][5][11][12]
