Overview

Havrix Junior is an inactivated hepatitis A vaccine used for active immunization against disease caused by hepatitis A virus (HAV). The vaccine works by causing the body to produce its own protection (antibodies) against this disease. It contains 720 ELISA units of killed hepatitis A virus (HM175 strain) in 0.5mL of liquid. Havrix Junior is specifically formulated for children and adolescents aged 1 to 15 years.
