Overview

HB-adMSC is an autologous adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell therapy developed by Hope Biosciences. It consists of culture-expanded mesenchymal stem cells isolated from a patient's own adipose (fat) tissue. The therapy is designed to provide cell replacement and immunomodulatory effects, aiming to reduce inflammation and promote tissue repair in various diseases. Preclinical and clinical studies have demonstrated its potential to modulate immune responses (e.g., shifting microglia from pro-inflammatory M1 to anti-inflammatory M2 phenotypes), improve neurological function, and enhance quality of life in conditions such as multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, traumatic brain injury, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, COVID-19 infections, and cerebral palsy[1][3][4][5][6][8]. The primary mechanism involves the regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties of the administered autologous mesenchymal stem cells.
