Overview

HB002.1T is a recombinant human vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR)-IgG Fc fusion protein that acts as a decoy receptor, binding VEGF-A, VEGF-B, and placental growth factor (PlGF). It inhibits angiogenesis and tumor activity by blocking the interaction of these ligands with their native receptors. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including gallbladder cancer and ovarian cancer, and has also been considered for age-related macular degeneration (AMD), bowel cancer, and gastric cancer. In clinical studies, it has shown anti-tumor activity as monotherapy in gallbladder cancer and in combination with chemotherapy regimens in various advanced solid tumors[2][3][4]. The developer is Huabo Biopharm.
