Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HB0085 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Shanghai Huaaotai Biological (Huaota) that simultaneously targets Protein Tyrosine Kinase 7 (PTK7) and Fibroblast Activation Protein alpha (FAP). PTK7 is a pseudo-kinase cell surface protein overexpressed in various solid tumors, including lung, breast, and colon cancers, where it is associated with cancer stem cell maintenance and tumor progression. FAP is a protease highly expressed on cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) within the tumor stroma, contributing to an immunosuppressive microenvironment. By dual-targeting these antigens, HB0085 is designed to directly inhibit tumor cell proliferation and disrupt the supportive tumor microenvironment, potentially enhancing anti-tumor efficacy compared to monotherapies. It is currently in early-stage development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
