Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HB1313 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody currently under development by Huahui Health (Beijing Huahui Health Biotech) for the treatment of cancer cachexia. Cancer cachexia is a complex, multi-organ syndrome characterized by the progressive loss of skeletal muscle mass and adipose tissue, which is not fully reversed by conventional nutritional support and leads to significant functional impairment and increased mortality in cancer patients. As a bispecific antibody, HB1313 is designed to simultaneously target two different antigens or signaling molecules involved in the pathogenesis of wasting, such as those in the TGF-beta superfamily or inflammatory cytokines. The drug is part of Huahui Health's expanding pipeline of innovative biologics aimed at addressing significant unmet needs in oncology and supportive care.
