HBAI20

HBAI20 is an investigational **adjuvanted recombinant hepatitis B vaccine** developed by CyTuVax for adults who fail to achieve seroprotection after standard hepatitis B vaccination. The product combines HBVaxPro 10 micrograms, a recombinant hepatitis B surface antigen vaccine, with the proprietary AI20 adjuvant, comprising 20 micrograms of recombinant human interleukin-2 attached to 20 micrograms of aluminum hydroxide. The depot-associated interleukin-2 adjuvant is intended to enhance antigen-specific humoral immune responses and improve protective anti-hepatitis B surface antibody responses in prior vaccine non-responders. HBAI20 completed a randomized Phase 2 study in hepatitis B vaccine non-responders.
