HBC-00015875 is a potent and selective small molecule inhibitor of Werner Syndrome Helicase (WRN), a member of the RecQ family of helicases essential for maintaining genomic stability. Developed by Hansoh Bio, the compound is designed to exploit synthetic lethality in microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) cancer cells, which are deficient in the DNA mismatch repair (MMR) system. Preclinical evaluations in colorectal, endometrial, and gastric cancer models have shown that HBC-00015875 exhibits favorable pharmacokinetic properties and induces significant tumor growth inhibition.
