HBM1007 is a fully human monoclonal antibody developed by Harbour BioMed that targets CD73, an ecto-enzyme expressed on stromal cells and tumors. CD73 converts extracellular adenosine monophosphate (AMP) to adenosine, contributing to immunosuppression in the tumor microenvironment. HBM1007 was generated using the Harbour Mice H2L2 transgenic platform and binds unique epitopes on CD73. Its dual mechanism of action includes blocking both membrane-bound and soluble CD73 enzymatic activity—independent of AMP concentration—and reducing surface expression of CD73, thereby inhibiting both enzymatic and non-enzymatic functions of this target. The drug is being developed primarily for solid tumors as an immuno-oncology therapy[1][10][8].
