Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HBM7026 is a **trispecific T-cell engager antibody** (TriTE) targeting **BCMA (B-cell maturation antigen), CD19, and CD3**. It is designed to achieve potent and deep **B-cell depletion** in peripheral blood, lymph nodes, and bone marrow, thereby resetting the immune system. This mechanism supports the drug’s development for treatment of **autoimmune diseases**, by removing pathogenic B-cell populations and promoting reconstitution of non-pathogenic naïve B cells. BCMA is highly expressed on mature B cells and plasma cells, while CD19 is expressed broadly on precursor and mature B cells; CD3 is a T-cell marker that allows T-cell mediated cytotoxicity against targeted B-cell populations. Leveraging fully human heavy-chain-only antibody (HCAb) technology and optimized anti-CD3 antibodies, HBM7026 aims for enhanced safety, reduced immunogenicity, and lower risk of cytokine release syndrome[3][5][7][9][11].
