HBO-001 is a therapeutic candidate being developed by HysensBio for the treatment of amelogenesis imperfecta, a rare genetic disorder characterized by defective tooth enamel formation. The drug is part of HysensBio's dental regeneration pipeline and utilizes a proprietary peptide technology derived from Copine-7 (CPNE7). CPNE7 is a signaling protein that plays a critical role in odontoblast differentiation and the mineralization of dental tissues.
