Overview

HC-SVT-1002 is an allogeneic cell therapy product developed by Salvat for the treatment of atrophic pseudarthrosis (nonunion) of long bones. It consists of expanded allogeneic adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (AD-MSCs) combined with a tricalcium phosphate (TCP) biomaterial scaffold. The AD-MSCs provide osteogenic potential and secrete trophic factors to promote bone healing, while the TCP serves as an osteoconductive scaffold. This combination is designed to be applied surgically to the site of the nonunion to stimulate bone regeneration in cases where natural healing has failed.
