Overview

HC101a is an off-the-shelf, induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by HebeCell. It is produced using the proprietary ProtoNK™ platform, which utilizes a feeder-free, 3D suspension culture system to generate high-purity, functional NK cells from iPSCs. HC101a is specifically designed for the treatment of pulmonary metastasis in pediatric sarcoma. The therapy leverages the innate ability of NK cells to recognize and eliminate tumor cells through various activating receptors, providing a potential treatment option for metastatic solid tumors in children. The ProtoNK™ platform aims to overcome the limitations of donor-derived NK cells by providing a scalable and standardized source of therapeutic cells.
