Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HC101b is an investigational, off-the-shelf natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by HebeCell for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The therapy is produced using HebeCell's proprietary ProtoNK™ platform, which employs a unique 3D feeder-free system to differentiate human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) into standardized, highly potent NK cells. Unlike traditional NK cell therapies derived from peripheral blood or umbilical cord blood, HC101b aims to provide a scalable and uniform product with enhanced cytotoxic activity against leukemic blasts. By utilizing iPSCs as a starting material, HebeCell can produce large quantities of standardized NK cells that are ready for clinical use. HC101b is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
