Overview

HC102 is an off-the-shelf, induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-engineered natural killer (NK) cell therapy being developed by HebeCell. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of metastatic ovarian cancer. The therapy utilizes HebeCell's proprietary 3D-PSC platform to generate large quantities of homogeneous NK cells from pluripotent stem cells, which are then engineered with a CAR to specifically target and eliminate ovarian tumor cells. By combining the innate cytotoxic capabilities of NK cells with the specificity of a CAR, HC102 aims to provide a potent, scalable, and standardized treatment option for patients with advanced ovarian malignancies, potentially overcoming the limitations associated with autologous cell therapies.
