Overview

HC121D is a preclinical-stage, off-the-shelf cell therapy candidate being developed by HebeCell for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It is comprised of natural killer (NK) cells derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) using the company's proprietary 3D-iPSC platform. These cells are genetically modified to express a novel chimeric antigen receptor (nCAR) intended to direct the NK cells to recognize and eliminate AML cells. By using an iPSC-based approach, HC121D is designed to be a standardized, mass-produced therapeutic that avoids the variability and logistical challenges associated with autologous cell therapies.
