Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HCAR3 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by ImmunoACT. It is designed to target the disialoganglioside GD2, a surface antigen that is highly expressed in various solid tumors, including neuroblastoma and glioblastoma multiforme. The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR specific for GD2, which redirects the immune system to recognize and eliminate GD2-positive malignant cells. Currently in the discovery phase, HCAR3 represents an expansion of ImmunoACT's CAR-T pipeline into solid tumor indications.
