This is a combination regimen consisting of HCB101 (a novel Fc-based anti-SIRPα-CD47 fusion protein), trastuzumab (a monoclonal antibody targeting HER2/ERBB2), pertuzumab (a monoclonal antibody targeting a different HER2/ERBB2 epitope), oxaliplatin (a platinum-based chemotherapy agent), and capecitabine (an orally administered antimetabolite prodrug of 5-fluorouracil). HCB101 is being investigated for its role in blocking the CD47-SIRPα axis to promote phagocytosis of tumor cells, complementing the antitumor activities of the monoclonal antibodies and chemotherapies. This regimen is being evaluated in advanced solid tumors, including HER2-positive cancers where synergistic action is hypothesized between immunotherapies and chemotherapeutics[1][5][9].
