Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HCKJ-HN01 is a recombinant humanized anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) monoclonal antibody being developed as a topical ophthalmic solution for the treatment of dry eye disease (DED). Developed by Fuzhou Haoji Medical Technology Development Co., Ltd., the drug targets the inflammatory component of DED, which is a key driver of ocular surface damage and tear film instability. TNF-α is a potent pro-inflammatory cytokine that is significantly upregulated in the tears and conjunctiva of patients with dry eye. By binding to and neutralizing TNF-α, HCKJ-HN01 aims to reduce ocular surface inflammation, improve tear film quality, and protect the corneal epithelium. The candidate is currently undergoing Phase II clinical evaluation in China to assess its safety and efficacy in patients with moderate to severe dry eye disease.
