Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HCL001 is an allogeneic hepatocyte cell therapy developed by RenJi Hospital for the treatment of decompensated cirrhosis. The therapy consists of homologous hepatocytes derived from healthy donors, which are administered via hepatic artery infusion using a digital subtraction angiography (DSA) procedure. The therapeutic objective is to provide functional metabolic support to the failing liver and potentially stimulate endogenous liver regeneration, thereby improving liver function and clinical outcomes in patients with end-stage liver disease who have limited treatment options.
